Sidewalk history

Normally when I think “historical document”, I don’t think of political phrases scratched with sticks into wet cement. That said, I was on the FAU campus the other day for work, and I came across this round of messages from 1972.  I wanted to share a few, since they so perfectly represent their time.

War destroys life.

Peace is victory.

Spiro Agnew’s father should have been sterile.

Napalm is just a figment of Spiro’s imagination.

Pray for legal pot.

Love your local stranger.

Do you feel free?
