Point Reyes National Seashore

After our adventures in San Francisco, we rented a car to get up to Cazadero for Brazil Camp and drove the scenic route up Highway 1.  I was raving to my travel companions about how gorgeous Point Reyes is, the stairs down to the lighthouse, the ocean…and after driving down many a winding road, we arrived to this.

We stubbornly had a picnic on the bluff, but this information sign pretty much summed it up. Cloaked. In. Fog.

There was a *brief* moment when the existence of the ocean below was slightly visible…but still never clear.  Alas – I guess I’ll just have to go back…

…because this is what it looks like on a good day. : )
